You earn $5,000 for a permanent placement, or $250 per shift (up to $5,000 total) for a locum tenens placement. There is no limit on the number of physicians you can refer.
For permanent placements, 90 days after your colleague’s start date. For locum placements, 90 days after their first shift. Payment is made by direct deposit or check after we have your completed W-9 on file.
Yes. To participate in the Physician Referral Program, you’ll need to complete a referral agreement. Once you submit a candidate or request more information, our team will send the agreement and walk you through the next steps.
Referral bonuses apply to physicians who are not already in our candidate database and have not independently contacted us. If you’re not sure, submit the referral anyway — we’ll let you know within 2 business days.
Absolutely. There is no cap on the number of referrals you can submit or the number of bonuses you can earn.
Bonuses are tied to a successful placement and start date, so there is no guarantee for every referral submitted. There is no downside to submitting — every introduction is appreciated.
The first physician to submit the referral receives sole credit. Submit early and make sure the referral is in before your colleague makes independent contact with BT-Health.
